Square Enix has just released the first game play video of Final Fantasy XIV titled Life in Eorzea. Unfortunately it’s in Japanese but it reminds me of those California commercials that tell you to come and visit or move their.

Zipper announced a couple weeks ago the release of free, that’s right, free DLC and it comes this week. Not only do we get a nice list of new DLC items, Zipper will also be having a double xp weekend starting today, actually, in some areas it might have already started. So what does this DLC bring us, according to respawnaction.com
The DLC will bring us a plethora of items which includes
-The addition of the Flashbang grenade
-New Light Machine Guns to each PMC. Raven’s APEX 100SE, Valor’s mk46 Mod 1, and SVER’s
RTK-74 Vla
-New Uniforms: ‘Trooper Dark’ and ‘Trooper Light’ designed for interior and urban combat scenarios as well as giving another customization option

Lighter PS3 Slim Revealed
As stated by PS3news.com a Japanese retailer revealed a new ps3 sku number, CECH-2100A. This is after a few weeks ago of reports of two new sku’s hitting the FCC. All we know for now is that the weight dropped from 3.2kg to 3.0kg’s but i think it is safe to presume that there will be other minor hardware changes to come as well.

Air Ships, World Map to Return to Final Fantasy Vs. XIII
According to The Lost Gamer in an interview with Tetsuya Nomura, Nomura has revealed more information regarding the upcoming PS3 exclusive Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
His response to the question of how much of the game is complete was
Things are not connected yet, every part is moving along separately. However, we have gotten airships working over the world map.
In the same interview Nomura revealed that his favorite character is Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series and that he hopes to make a sequel to Dissidia:Final Fantasy.

……Socom 4!!! Zipper Interactive is at it again going back to their roots and developing the new Socom 4! Judging by the feature list so far it won’t be anything like Confrontation. Feature’s include a single player mode, 32 – player multiplayer, character interactions the same as uncharted 2 and how Naughty Dog developed it, and destructible environments to name a few.
If the game looks as good as the pictures well I’m sure it will with the recent graphical marvel’s the PS3 has produced. The game is due for release this fall.
